Get ready for light showers late Sunday night into Monday morning. The rain will be centered around the coast, with accumulation likely to be less than .10" for most areas. Those showers wrap up by Monday afternoon.
Monday will bring fall-like conditions, with coastal and inland highs near 70 degrees. For places like Escondido and Campo, that puts them nearly 20 degrees below seasonal averages!
Strong winds are expected for the east county Monday, with gusts as fast as 55 miles per hour in the mountains and deserts. A Wind Advisory will be active for desert communities from 11 a.m. Monday to midnight Tuesday morning.
We'll stay cool and cloudy for the middle of the week, with another chance of showers Thursday. We warm up by the weekend.
