Grossmont High School senior Marco Dominguez was a member of the Foothiller cross country and track teams. I guess you can say Marco loves to run.

"What I like best about running, is meeting new people and getting the exercise. I think the exercise was amazing, and the environment where the competitions were held was amazing."

Marco says it was an honor to compete for the Foothiller's cross country and track teams. It was a great experience to run for a team that is competitive year in and year out.

"I think Grossmont is one of the better, more well rounded teams. I also think the people that I got to meet were not like any other school in the district, or in the country for that matter."

Marco got it done in the classroom as well, as he earned a 3.7 GPA. The one class that stood out from the rest he says, was being apart of the Red Cross club.

"I met many new friends, and many new opportunities to volunteer in the community. I think it's a great program for anybody who wants community service hours, and also to help he community and feel good about yourself."

Next year he will begin a new chapter in his life as he heads to San Diego State.

"I'm want to get a degree in Electrical Engineering as i want to do something in the field of solar power."
