(KGTV) — For one night, a Southern California Minor League Baseball team will become perhaps San Diego's most celebrated meal.

San Bernardino's Inland Empire 66ers, the Class A Advanced affiliate of the Anaheim Angels, will rebrand as the California Burritos on May 25.

The team created a new uniform featuring a festive jersey, complete with some "drive-thru" language, and logo of a California burrito in the shape of the state for the promotion.

As San Diegans know — and love — the California burrito is a staple. A classic carne asada burrito with guacamole, cheese, and most importantly, french fries.

"Growing up in the Inland Empire, California Burritos were always a go-to. So, we found a unique and fun way to tie it in to Minor League Baseball," said 66ers General Manager Joe Hudson. "And who doesn't love a good burrito."

The team is also hosting different local restaurants on the night of the game to serve California burritos and compete for the title of best Inland Empire Cali burrito. Fans will also have the chance to compete in a five-pound burrito eating contest.

For San Diegans salivating at all the action, the team is offering California Burritos merchandise on its website and in store while supplies last.

Recently, the Padres El Paso affiliate took their own mouth-watering turn to rebrand for the MiLB's Copa Cup, transforming into the El Paso Margaritas for a limited run.

If the Padres could, what food would represent San Diego best? Fish tacos?
