SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego State’s Rashaad Penny was selected by the Seattle Seahawks Thursday night.
The running back led the NCAA Division I players with 2,027 rushing yards as a senior in 2017, according to the OC Register.
Penny is considered a patient runner with an ideal build. Penny was also named the All-CIF Southeast Division co-offensive player of the year in 2013.
The Seahawks tweeted out the news just after 8 p.m. Thursday night. Penny was selected 27th overall.
