(KGTV) Monte Vista High School in Spring Valley will get the 10News Pro Treatment for Week 4 of the prep football season.
San Diego State fans should pay close attention to the Monarchs, who are led by senior running back Jahmon McClendon. McClendon made an early commitment to play for Rocky Long's Aztecs next season. He gained notice from colleges across the country after his 8-touchdown performance in last December's Division IV CIF championship game against San Diego High School.
Monte Vista will face Christian on Friday night in a matchup of East County unbeatens. The game will be played on the field at Granite Hills High School in El Cajon.
