(KGTV) - The latest version in the Madden video game series was officially released Friday, but it contains quite a noticeable flaw.
Twitter user Michael Cook was able to play Madden 19 earlier this week and he posted a gameplay clip that included the in-game play-by-play announcer referring to the Chargers’ home as “the Mission Valley area of beautiful San Diego, California.”
However, the game is being played in Los Angeles.
In case it’s been forgotten (highly unlikely): The Chargers departed San Diego in January 2017 after 56 years in America’s Finest City and now reside in Los Angeles.
After the clip spread on social media, the game’s publisher, EA Sports, responded to Cook’s post and promised to have the error corrected in an upcoming patch.

Hey Charger fans, thanks for flagging this 😳. We’ll have this fixed in the game with our next Title Update during the week of August 20th!
