CHULA VISTA, Calif. - A crash involving a vehicle heading south on northbound Interstate 5 left three lanes blocked in Chula Vista Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said a vehicle entered the northbound lanes from the Palomar Street off ramp at about 11:25 a.m. As she entered the interstate, the 86-year-old driver collided with three other cars. She sustained minor injuries.
Two of the other drivers that were hit also sustained minor injuries. The third driver hit was uninjured.
The three injured parties were transported to local hospitals.
