SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Attorney Gloria Allred and former United States Marine Erika Butner held a press conference Thursday, to criticize the handling of a nude photo scandal by the U.S. Navy, USMC, and Congress.

Allred released a letter from the U.S. House of Representatives Armed Services Committee, responding to her request for victims of the scandal to testify.
Allred said in a statement that the U.S. Navy is not doing enough to protect female service members.

In March, lawmakers grilled Gen. Robert Neller, the Marine Corps commandant, over the scandal. Gen. Neller vowed to hold those responsible accountable by whatever legal means necessary.
Gen. Neller is scheduled to be at Camp Pendleton Thursday.
