CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV)--Military investigators are looking into a bomb threat made Friday against the fitness center at Naval Base Coronado.
Someone phoned in the threat against the VADM Martin Fitness Center on Rogers Road at 1 p.m. At 2:40 p.m., investigators gave an all-clear, and the fitness center reopened.
Naval personnel has not announced an arrest and the threat was deemed not credible.
"Naval Base Coronado takes all threats very seriously and uses security procedures in place to assess and eliminate those threats," the base wrote on Facebook.
