Thieves scour SD school, fill bags with stuff

SAN DIEGO – Police are searching for two men who broke into a school in the El Cerrito neighborhood late Thursday night and stole several items. 
 
According to San Diego police, at around 10:30 p.m. two men in hoodies were caught on surveillance video breaking into the Waldorf of San Diego High School at 4135 54th Pl. The men were going from classroom to classroom and filling bags with items. 
 
The thieves were spotted by a security company which monitors the school’s surveillance cameras. By the time officers arrived on scene, the suspects were gone. 
 
A list of the items stolen and a financial estimate of the loss to the school was not immediately known. Detectives are investigating the video with the hopes of identifying the suspects.
