SAN DIEGO - A local breast cancer survivor says a chemotherapy drug changed her appearance forever.

Abby Sandler said a drug used to treat her disease left her with permanent hair loss. She claims the drug maker never told her that could happen.

"People think I'm a cancer patient still," Sandler told Team 10. "And when I look in the mirror, I'm seeing a cancer patient. So I don't feel healthy. It's a constant reminder that I was sick and probably am still sick and that's devastating."

Sandler and nearly 100 others are suing the pharmaceutical company as part of a class-action lawsuit.
