Suspect sought in City College sex assault case

A woman reported that she was sexually assaulted at San Diego City College Tuesday by a man she met on the dating app Tinder, according to authorities.

According to City College police, the incident happened at about 12:45 p.m. in the school's V building parking garage at 1081 16th Street.

The woman met the man, identified as Benjamin, on Tinder and they agreed to meet in the front of the school. Police said the woman "got into his vehicle and they proceeded to the parking structure, where he parked."

The woman said she was sexually assaulted inside the car -- a light silver Dodge Charger with a white racing stripe over the hood.

Benjamin is described as Hispanic, 25 or 26 years old and has mustache and a beard along his jaw. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt.

College police said the suspect "had a machete in the back seat of the vehicle."
