SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - SeaWorld announced Wednesday a new pricing plan to boost attendance at the Mission Bay park.
The new SOCAL Pass is $99.99 and includes 12 months unlimited admission, free parking, two free guest tickets and discounts on in-park purchases and special member-only events.
The pass goes on sale Thursday and is $10 more than the cost of single-day admission.
SeaWorld is offering payments of $9 a month with no down payment through the park's EZPay program.
The park also announced upcoming events:
Electric Eel: The roller coaster will be the tallest in town when it opens in Summer 2018.
Meet the Animals: SeaWorld offers free tours of the Animal Health and Rescue Center, select weekends in January 2018.
Lunar New Year: See Chinese acrobats and enjoy specialty foods on select weekends, February 2018.
Seven Seas Craft Beer & Food Festival: More than 80 craft beers and 60 gourmet offerings will be available. Select dates in March and April 2018.
Sesame Street Parade: This new parade features Elmo and Sesame Street favorites in May and June 2018.
Electric Ocean: The nighttime Cirque Electrique and dance parties return next June.
Halloween Spooktacular: Not too spooky for little children, this is a family fun event with a parade, free candy and an undersea pumpkin patch.
Christmas Celebration: A live nativity story, Rudolph, Santa's Christmas Village and animal shows with a twist.
