SAN FRANCISCO (KGTV) -- A toll booth operator on the iconic Bay Bridge in San Francisco was killed after a man suspected of driving under the influence crashed into the booth Saturday.
The toll booth worker was inside the booth when it was thrown several feet.
The woman has been identified as Si Si Han, a mother of a young daughter. California Highway Patrol says Han died after a box truck hit about five cars before crashing into the toll booth.
The box truck driver was ejected and has serious injuries, according to CHP.
The driver has been charged with DUI and vehicular manslaughter. Flags at the tool plaza are at half-staff in Han’s memory.
