SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The San Diego Zoo Friday opened a 450-foot bridge that will give guests another way to get around the historic attraction.
The new Canopy Bridge connects Benchley Plaza -- located in Lost Forest on the east side of the Zoo – to the Fossil Portal inside Elephant Odyssey on the west side.
With the new span, Zoo visitors can make their way from the front entrance to the opposite end of the 100-acre park in minutes. The bridge also provides improved and easier access for senior citizens and those with mobility challenges.
