SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A woman was taken to the hospital Friday morning after she was shot by an apparent stray bullet while standing in front of her home in the Corridor neighborhood.
San Diego police said the woman was in front of her house on Wilson Avenue at about 1:45 a.m. when she heard a gunshot and then noticed she was hit in her stomach by a bullet.
The woman was able to call for help and was taken to the hospital. While her condition is unknown, 10News learned she was able to talk to police officers.
Officers searched the area and found drug paraphernalia nearby.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
