San Diego Police search for Imperial Beach man's killer

SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--The San Diego Police and Crime Stoppers need the public's help to find the killer of an Imperial Beach man one year ago.

28-year-old Victor Vega attended a party in the Skyline neighborhood on May 28, 2016.  He was walking along Brookhaven Rd. when a dark-colored sedan pulled up next to him.  Someone inside the car fired shots, striking Vega.  Officers found Vega lying in the road, and he later died from his injuries.

Anyone with information on this murder is asked to call the San Diego Police Department's Homicide Unit at (619) 531-2293 or the Crime Stoppers Anonymous Tip Line at (888) 580-8477.  Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
