SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A San Diego Police officer was arrested this week on domestic violence charges.
San Diego Police (SDPD) officer Emmett Gregory, 49, was arrested on Nov. 19 by Chula Vista Police (CVPD) in the Sunset Cliffs area, police confirmed.
Gregory was charged with domestic violence, according to CVPD.
SDPD Public Information Officer Lt. Scott Wahl said the department is aware of the incident and investigating the matter:
"We are aware of the incident involving Officer Gregory. We take the conduct of all our employees very seriously and hold our personnel to the highest of standards.
We have opened an administrative investigation into the situation and will make sure it is investigated fully.
