SAN DIEGO - Sunday mornings on 10News -- join us as we sit down with the newsmakers in San Diego to talk about the issues that matter to you.

This week, we spoke with LaShae Collins, the first person to announce she will run for school board to try and replace Marne Foster.

Foster resigned after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor count of accepting gifts over the legal limit.

Collins, who is currently a staff member for Assemblywoman Shirley Weber, talks with 10News reporter Melissa Mecija about what changes she would make and her thoughts on the Foster controversy.

(Note: This interview was conducted a few hours before Foster announced her resignation)
