SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Crews are assessing a ship being constructed in San Diego after a dry dock flooded Wednesday night.
The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said that a barrier that holds water back collapsed, causing the flooding.
According to General Dynamics NASSCO, the ship is safe and there were no injuries following the flooding.
Video captured above the dock Thursday showed the flooded area with debris floating in the water.

“Last night, there was a flooding incident with the graving dock used to support construction of the future USNS Miguel Keith (ESB 5). There were no injuries. The ship is safe and in stable condition. Personnel are currently assessing impact to the ship.”
