SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego County has some of the best beach towns in the U.S., several of which made this year’s WalletHub list of top beach towns to live in.
Coming in at number 14 on the list of 161 beach towns is Encinitas. Overall, Encinitas ranked high when it comes to its economy and quality of life. The city also ranked 36th on the list for affordability.
Carlsbad, San Clemente and Coronado were several other towns that made the list, with Coronado being the least affordable coming in at 152.

Though Coronado is one of the least affordable beach towns in the entire country, it scored well for weather, safety, economy and quality of life.
