SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - District 7 City Councilman Scott Sherman literally took matters into his own hands to repair a broken sign.
In a post on his public Facebook page, the councilman said he decided to fix the "Welcome to San Carlos" sign himself “after months of delays due to bureaucratic red tape.”
Sherman represents San Carlos, Allied Gardens, Linda Vista, Mission Valley, Serra Mesa, Tierrasanta, Del Cerro, Grantville and MCAS Miramar.
It is unclear how long the sign has been broken or how the problem occurred.
