SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are searching for whoever burglarized a Rancho Bernardo jewelry store early Tuesday morning and then broke into a veterinary clinic next door.
The break-ins happened at the Oaks North Shopping Plaza in the 12000 block of Oaks North Drive, according to San Diego police.
Responding officers found a side window at RB Jewelers had been smashed in, with glass and debris everywhere. An undisclosed amount of jewelry was missing from display cases, police said.
Officers also found that someone forced their way into the Rancho Bernardo Veterinary Clinic adjacent to the jewelry store. Police said it is unclear what was taken from the clinic.
Police said officers found a knife at the scene that may have been used in the burglary.
10News learned police are reviewing surveillance cameras as part of the investigation.
