Gavin Newsom, John Cox to face off in November General Election

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Gavin Newsom and John Cox will face off in the November General Election for California Governor. 

During their post-primary speeches, both Cox and Newsom spoke about some of the key issues of their campaigns. 

Newsom focused on education and the future of California while bashing President Donald Trump on topics like immigration policies.

Cox, on the other hand, focused on some issues close to the pocketbooks of Californians, repealing the gas tax and lowering the cost of living in one of the nations most expensive states.
