Woman accuses Supreme Court pick Kavanaugh of assault in letter to Senate

— A woman is accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of assaulting her when they were in high school in the 1980s.

The accuser claims Kavanaugh pushed her into a bedroom during a party at a Maryland home. She claims Kavanaugh and another man locked the door and played loud music to prevent attempts to yell for help.

The woman went on the claim Kavanaugh tried to remove her clothes and both men were drunk.

Kavanaugh has "unequivocally" denied the accusation.

Prosecutors weigh charges against Democratic powerbroker in Manafort-linked probe

— Federal prosecutors may bring charges against former Obama White House counsel Greg Craig as part of an investigation into whether he failed to register as a foreign agent.

According to CNN, the probe is linked to the investigation into former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

The investigation specifically focuses on whether Craig improperly performed lobbying work on behalf of a group associated with Ukraine without registering with the Justice Department as a foreign agent.
