San Diego police were investigating a robbery Saturday at a Wells Fargo Bank inside a grocery store in which the suspect made threats to the teller, authorities said.
It happened at 12:26 p.m. at the bank inside the Vons store at 3550 Murphy Canyon Rd., San Diego police Sgt. Ray Battrick said.
The suspect -- described as a male Hispanic 30 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 200 pounds "spoke to the teller and made threats," Battrick said. The suspect got an undisclosed amount of money and left the store in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.
The suspect was wearing a multi-colored fisherman-type hat, sunglasses, a tan shirt with a long sleeve black shirt underneath and khaki pants.
