SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Two men were arrested early Monday morning after leading a high-speed pursuit in the Corridor area.

San Diego police officers attempted to pull over a car for speeding on Swift Avenue, near El Cajon Boulevard, shortly after 12 a.m. However, the driver refused to pull over, prompting a chase.

Police said someone inside the car threw a handgun out of a window during the pursuit. The car then stopped near Orange Avenue and three men ran from the vehicle.

A man hiding under an SUV in an alley off Swift Avenue was spotted by officers and tried to run, but as the 10News Breaking News Tracker rolled his camera, the man fell after trying to climb a fence and was arrested.

Another man was chased down and taken into custody, but a third man was not found.

A description of the man was not immediately available.
