An unknown amount of cash was taken by two armed suspects during a robbery at a beauty salon in the Colina Del Sol section of San Diego, a police officer said Sunday.

The two suspects entered Lee's Beauty Salon, 5253 El Cajon Blvd., at 7:03 p.m. Saturday and demanded money from the employees, said Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money.

Both suspects left the store heading westbound on El Cajon Boulevard, Heims said.

The suspects were described as black males wearing blue shirts, possible blue hoodies and pants. One had a blue rag covering his face and one had a gun.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
