A woman in Ocean Beach said she's stuck with a $1,000 vet bill and the new fear of walking her dog, after a recent dog attack.
Janis Sandlin said she was walking her dog, Mystertee, near their Ocean Beach home on Del Monte, when an off-leash dog attacked.
“It was pretty heartbreaking to see, you cant really explain to your dogs while they’re injured,” Sandlin said. “They had to heavily sedate him to make large incisions and surgical drains in his neck and his back.”
Sandlin said the other dog owner told her to “relax,” before taking off with his dog.
She filed a report with Animal Services.
