SAN DIEGO – A pickup truck slammed into a San Diego Trolley crossing in Mission Valley early Wednesday morning, causing delays to vehicle traffic and trolley service.
Sometime before 5:45 a.m. a truck crashed into a crossing arm and signal at the intersection of Napa Street and Friars Road. The circumstances of the crash were unclear. There were no injuries.
The intersection was closed for about one hour and Green Line service was delayed. The accident was cleared by 6:45 a.m. The intersection was fully reopened and service was restored.
San Diego police are investigating.
