BONSALL, Calif. (KGTV) -- The California Highway Patrol is investigating after a person died in a single car crash near Bonsall Monday afternoon.
According to CHP, the car caught fire after crashing on State Route 76 near Thoroughbred Lane. At this time, it’s unknown what caused the crash or the subsequent fire.
The car fire also sparked nearby grass to catch fire. Crews were quickly able to extinguish the flames.
