A woman was taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after being struck by a bus in the Mission Hills area.
San Diego police said the 50-year-old woman was walking south in the crosswalk on India Street just after 4 p.m. when she was struck by a tour bus that was making a left turn from India Street to West Washington Street.
According to police, the woman suffered a serious head injury and was taken to the hospital.
There were at least 20 people in the bus at the time of the incident, but no one inside was hurt.
Police said the bus was traveling at a low speed.
