The nursing assistant accused of posting a Snapchat video of an partially naked elderly patient pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor elder abuse and invasion of privacy.
Latoya Walker was not required to appear in court because her charges were misdemeanors. Her lawyer entered a not guilty plea on her behalf.
Walker was an employee at Lifehouse Vista Healthcare Center. She and another woman seen in the Snapchat video were fired.
Prosecutors only have a still frame of the Snapchat video. They subpoenaed Snapchat to get the full video.
