National Football League owners have agreed to a new personal conduct policy.
The unanimous vote comes in the wake of several domestic violence incidents involving players in the league.
The NFL presented the "revised and strengthened Personal Conduct Policy" at a meeting today in Dallas, according to a statement on NFL.com.
It outlines several new measures, including:
- Additional NFL-funded counseling for victims and families, as well as violators;
- An extensive list of prohibited conduct; and
- Independent investigative procedures.
