A one-inch natural gas line that broke at 4:11 p.m. Sunday in University City is capped off and traffic is returning to normal in the area of Genesee Avenue and Governor Drive, according to authorities.
SDG&E crews were expected to remain on scene until about 6 p.m., according to spokeswoman Amber Albrecht.
Meanwhile, the SigAlert that was issued by San Diego Police has been lifted.
