Crews used a bucket truck to approach the bobcat atop the pole and coerced it to climb down and run off to safety.

EARLIER STORY:
COLLIER COUNTY, Florida — It's not that uncommon for bobcats to be spotted in rural Collier County, Florida. However it is very rare to see one sitting atop a wooden pole along the interstate.
FDOT traffic cameras spotted the animal sitting on the top of a pole near mile marker 78 along Alligator Alley on Thursday morning.
