President Barack Obama will deliver his seventh and final State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress Tuesday evening. It is expected that Obama will highlight the progress the United States has made since he took office in 2009.
While presidents typically try to use their final State of the Union speech to reinforce their legacy, Obama has hinted taking a different path during Tuesday's speech, which will be aired by all of the major broadcast networks.
The address will begin at 9 p.m. Eastern, with a rebuttal from South Carolina Republican Governor Nikki Haley immediately following Obama's address.
