LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A flight from Honolulu to Los Angeles returned to Hawaii because of a fight between two passengers on board, it was reported Wednesday morning.
The Hawaiian Airlines flight left for Los Angeles at 5:50 p.m. Pacific time Tuesday and about two hours into the flight, a fight erupted and the captain chose to return to the airport in Honolulu, KHON-TV in Honolulu reported.
Police were waiting for the plane when it arrived, the station said.
Video from inside the aircraft showed at least one person being escorted off the plane by law enforcement officers.
"I don't know if it was wife or girlfriend, but was like 'Don't talk to her like that, you shouldn't talk to her like that,'" passenger Stanson Chung said. "And then the guy said, 'Don't you talk to me like that' and that kinda triggered him to charge him or something."
Some flight attendants suffered minor injuries.
There were 276 passengers and 11 crew members on board.
The flight departed for Los Angeles at 11 p.m. Pacific time and arrived at Los Angeles International Airport about 4:30 a.m.
