CARLSBAD (KGTV) - A motorcyclist died Saturday afternoon after a collision involving two other motorcyclists in the 6500 block of N. Carlsbad Blvd.
Police identified the victim as a 24-year-old male from Vista. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital after suffering fatal injuries.
When officers arrived on scene they found three motorcycles with extensive damage lying in the roadway.
The other two motorcyclists, a 21-year-old male and a 49-year-old male from Vista, suffered serious injuries and were taken to local area hospitals.
The investigation of the cause of the collision is underway.
N. Carlsbad Blvd. from Breakwater Rd. to Solamar Dr. has been closed during the investigation.
