SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A motorcyclist was found dead after apparently crashing into a parked car in a Mira Mesa neighborhood early Wednesday morning.
According to San Diego police, the incident was reported at around 1:15 a.m. in the 8700 block of Westmore Road.
Police said a resident had just arrived home when he noticed damage to the back of his father's parked car and a body lying behind it. The resident also saw that a motorcycle was down on the sidewalk nearby.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to tend to the motorcyclist, but he was declared dead at the scene.
There is no immediate word on the cause of the crash.
Police have not identified the victim.
