SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — More than 2,200 SDG&E customers were without power Saturday in the North Park area.
About 2,216 customers in the University Heights, North Park, Normal Heights, Kensington, and Talmadge areas were left in the dark at about 8 a.m.
SDG&E said a malfunction of underground equipment in the area caused the outage, but crews were out repairing the issue.
As of 9:34 a.m., a spokesperson said power should be restored to all customers within the next hour.
