SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - In addition to hundreds of thousands of Comic-Con International attendees, bike and scooter rental companies plan to boost their presence in downtown San Diego in the next week.
Ofo, which rents bicycles, said it will be distributing and rebalancing its fleet per demand. You may see more bikes for Comic-Con as traffic increases in the area, according to a company spokesman.
Lime said it’s working closely with the Convention Center to ramp up scooter and personnel deployments to meet the increased demand. The company has scooters and bikes available to rent.

Bird said it would also have extra scooters in its 'nests' of available vehicles.
Comic-Con officials issued a reminder to attendees Friday that bikes and scooters will not be allowed within the San Diego Convention Center’s secure perimeter, which includes the front drive, stairs, and surrounding sidewalks.
