SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The family of an SDSU student killed on I-8 is hoping to get “to the truth of what happened.”
Jasmine Madarang, 20, was struck while on the highway hours after attending the Kappa Alpha fraternity’s tailgate party for the September 16 game at SDCCU Stadium.

Family members don’t believe she walked all the way to that location and want to know how she got there.
“She doesn’t like walking and that’s some tough terrain, and we don’t believe she would ever walk onto a highway. It doesn't make sense. We want to know how she ended up there alone,” said her aunt, Rizza Madarang.
The family sent 10News a series of ride-sharing receipts that unearthed more clues - and questions.
