SAN DIEGO --Police are investigating after an active shooter situation in downtown San Diego Sunday morning as thousands of marathon runners gathered in the area.
Police say the shooting suspect may have participated in several other crimes, including a kidnapping, before the shooting unfolded.
After police spotted the suspect with a gun, they reportedly chased her through a parking structure downtown.
