A man whose body was found floating off Shelter Island on Saturday was publicly identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner Sunday.
Two boaters found the body of 64-year-old Ronald Lee Okuma of San Diego, floating face-down around 3 p.m., not far from the San Diego Harbor Police Department's dock.
Rescuers pulled Okuma's body of the water, but were unable to revive him, the Medical Examiner's office said. The cause of his death remained under investigation.
