VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - A man was shot in the back at a Vista intersection and taken to the hospital, sheriff’s officials said Wednesday.
The shooting was reported at around 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of N. Santa Fe and W. Connecticut avenues, according to San Diego County sheriff’s officials.
Deputies responding to the shooting arrived to find a man with a single gunshot wound to his back.
The 29-year-old was taken to the hospital with what is believed to be a non-life threatening wound.
The shooting is under investigation.
