SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are searching for the person responsible for stabbing a man at Chollas Creekside Park in central San Diego Friday.
Witnesses told 10News they noticed two men in what appeared to be an embrace until they saw one of the men slump over and noticed he was bleeding.
San Diego Police say it appears the two men were in an altercation of some type. A woman with the victim called the police.
A search for the suspect was underway as of 4 p.m. The small park is located just across from a trolley station and shopping.
No description of the suspect was immediately provided by police. The victim has been taken to the hospital, though the extent of his injuries was not immediately clear.
