VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) — A nine-year-old boy was home alone as an intruder broke in and ransacked a North County home Wednesday, San Diego deputies say.
San Diego Sheriff's Department (SDSO) said the man made his way into the home on Seacrest Court in Vista at about 9:30 a.m. through a rear sliding door. The man started throwing objects around the home while a nine-year-old boy was alone in the home, according to deputies.
The boy ran to the garage to hide and then to a neighbor's home to call for help. The boy was not injured.
