SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- El Cajon Police arrested a woman for making terrorist threats after she reportedly hit and threatened to kill a medic and police officers Tuesday.

According to police, a medic unit was responding to a call in the area of 100 Orlando Street around 7 a.m. when a resident became argumentative with the medic about blocking a parking area.

Police say the woman struck the ambulance with her car while trying to leave her parking spot. The woman then hit the medic several times while threatening to kill the medic and police officers.

After making the threats, the suspect left the area and was located at a nearby gas station by police.

She was arrested for making terrorist threats, battery, and misdemeanor hit-and-run.

Police say the woman is in the process of being booked into the Los Colinas Detention Facility.
