CARLSBAD, Calif. (KGTV) - A large tree fell dangerously close to a Carlsbad home early Wednesday morning, but no one was injured.
The tree came down at around 12:30 a.m. near a house on Pontiac Drive, at Chestnut Drive.
A car that was parked in the driveway sustained some damage, but no injuries were reported.
City workers were able to cut back branches from the sidewalk, but 10News learned the homeowner was deemed responsible for the remainder of the tree because it was on his property.
It was not immediately known what caused the tree to fall down.
